Position Overview

The Banquet Server supports food and beverage service at organized events. Responsibilities include preparing service areas, serving guests, maintaining presentation standards, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations according to event instructions.
• Welcome guests and provide courteous assistance throughout the event.
• Communicate dietary requests and special instructions to the kitchen team.
• Refill beverages and replenish service supplies when needed.
• Clear dishes and maintain clean, organized banquet areas.
• Coordinate with event coordinators and fellow servers to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist with event breakdown, equipment collection, and cleanup.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs.
