Position Overview

We are currently hiring a dependable Dishwasher to join our team in Birmingham. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. This role plays a vital part in supporting kitchen staff and ensuring efficient food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, floors, and service stations
• Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment
• Remove trash and recycling in accordance with company procedures
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Assist with basic kitchen support tasks as needed
• Ensure dishwashing area remains clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation procedures

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend support

Shift Length: 6-8 hours

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
